Resistance continues in Panjshir amidst uprisings across the country

The forces of the National Resistance Front maintain a strong presence in Panjshir, launching frequent attacks on Taliban positions from the highlands. The Soviet Union entered the Panjshir Valley nine times and were forced out every time; this 10th incursion of hostile, foreign forces (including Pakistani ISI operatives) will end no differently. Morale remains high and equipment captured in previous fighting, one example of which is seen below, is enabling NRF troops to move rapidly and strike with force. Please, consider supporting them in the fight to liberate Panjshir.

Following Ahmad Shah Massoud's call for a national uprising and emboldened by Panjshir's steadfast resistance, opposition to the Taliban has heightened in cities across Afghanistan. Women's protests have intensified in Herat, Afghanistan's third largest city, and it is believed popular resistance networks are forming there and in other cities, much to the Taliban's consternation. Meanwhile, paramilitary forces (not officially affiliated with the NRF) loyal to former vice president Abdul Rashid Dostum have engaged the Taliban in Mazar-i-Sharif and seek to free the city from Taliban rule, an outcome the National Resistance Front would highly welcome.
